Yu Ying (Steven) Lin

Steven joined UIUC and Jessica Krogstad’s group in August of 2018. He was co-advised by Prof. Nicola Perry. He earned his bachelors degree in Materials Science and Engineering in May 2018 from the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan. His work focused on electrical ceramics, specifically on the development of novel Li+/Na+ conductors for all-solid-state batteries. Steven completed the requirements for his PhD in the spring of 2023. He is now a Senior Scientist for Factorial Energy.
