Deformation mechanisms in high performance ceramics

Development of robust radiation resistant ceramics via porosity engineering

Research Areas

Johnathan’s work complements two ongoing projects in ceramics.  His current focus is on developing a capillary suspension (e.g. Koos et al.) approach to fabricating highly porous ceramics.
