Education

Jordan graduated with a BS in Materials Science and Engineering in 2022 and is now pursuing a PhD in Materials Science at MIT.

Projects

Enhanced thermal stability in zirconia-based aerogels

Research Areas

Jordan was interested in optimizing the processing parameters for optimal aerogel stability, including solids loading and water content.  He lead characterization efforts to understand how these parameters impacted the evolution of specific surface area asa  function of annealing temperature.

Awards

Jordan was a recipient of a 2022 Department of Defense National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship.
